The Electric Stringed Didgeridoo

Constructed of solid brass, Andy Graham's Electric Stringed Didgeridoo combines the ancient didgeridoo with a harp-like structure supporting 3 guitar strings and one bass string.

The Strings are amplified with an electric bass pickup. They are lightly struck with a metal or wooden dowel or bowed.

The didgeridoo is played normally while the strings are plucked or struck, dulcimer-style, with a special steel rod in the left hand. A guitar slide is also worn on the right hand for slide effects or to strike the strings. The body of the instrument can also be struck with the rod or slide for percussion effects
