Built in 1998, this Newtonian reflecting telescope features anodized aluminum components including outer casing, mirror holders and eyepiece holder. Optics are Orion high-reflectivity Pyrex mirrors. Main pivots are machined delrin plastic with felt bearing surfaces. Base is a simple plywood 'Lazy Susan' style platform.
